Auburn started the week with a tough loss at home over Falls City Sacred Heart by a score of 55-23, but would leave Wilber on Saturday with their second straight road win after riding a fourth quarter run to a 10-point victory to finish 1-1 on the week and improve to 4-10 on the season.

The Bulldogs came out strong against Falls City Sacred Heart on Tuesday in Auburn, scoring 10 points in the first quarter. Still, the Bulldogs entered the second period down five points and were outscored 21-6 before halftime.

Seniors Ariale Franke and Addie Darnell scored six each to lead Auburn, but the Bulldogs didn’t have enough scoring to get back into the game, as they fell to the Irish 55-23.
