Wes Swanson, a senior at Johnson County Central, became the 6th Thunderbird in school history to reach 1,000 career points in basketball. He accomplished this feat on December 11, 2025 in the game against Syracuse. “Wes has put a lot of time and effort into athletics and basketball specifically. It is great to see him reach this career milestone,” said Head Boys Basketball Coach Kirk Faris.
