The State Bank of Table Rock is pleased to announce the appointment of Spencer Kunze as President, effective January 15, 2026. He will succeed Mark Joy, who has faithfully served the bank as President for the past eight years.
Spencer joined the State Bank of Table Rock in June 2009 as an Assistant Vice President. In 2011, he was promoted to Vice President and Branch Manager of the Roca Branch, a role in which he provided strong leadership and operational oversight for more than a decade. In 2024, Spencer was promoted to Senior Vice President. He has also served as a member of the bank’s Board of Directors since 2018.
Deeply rooted in the community, Spencer grew up in Table Rock and Roca and has been connected to the bank his entire life. He brings broad experience across all areas of banking, including operations, lending, compliance, and information technology. Spencer is the son of Rick and Bobbie Stillinger-Kunze and the grandson of the late Robert “Banker Bob” Stillinger and Ethelann Stillinger, whose legacy of community banking continues to influence the institution today. Spencer is actively involved in community and civic leadership. He currently serves as a Director of the Southeast Nebraska Affordable Housing Council, Inc. He is a member of The Sowers Club of Nebraska and is a Director on the Foundation Board, reflecting his strong commitment to community development, philanthropy, and service.
