Kathy Speers celebrated retirement from her role in personal banking deposit operations at the Western National Bank of Tecumseh with family and friends on Friday, January 16. She has been employed at the Western National Bank for 11 years, occasionally working at the branch bank in Summerfield, Kansas as well.
Her duties included opening new checking and savings accounts and processing monetary deposits for the customers.
Through the years, Speers has worked with two bank owners, the Jud Douglas family, who formerly owned the Farmers Bank of Cook and Mainstreet Bank, as well as the current owners of Western National Bank, Dallen George and Brian Lavelle.
