In their lone game of the week, the Auburn boys basketball team handled the Palmyra Panthers by a score of 63-34 Friday night in Auburn.
The Panthers searched for answers against Auburn’s defense in the first half, but rarely found any as Auburn built up a 27-5 lead with under three minutes remaining in the first half. Sophomore Brayan Palmer blocked three Panther shots and hauled in eight rebounds to go with eight points on the night.
Auburn was led in scoring by sophomore Ryan Guenther, who scored 17 points on sevenof- nine shooting from the field. Senior Creighton Keeling was five-of-seven including a three pointer to add 14 points.
