After sitting out two games with an injury, including a 4836 loss to Tri County on December 19, senior Brody Koehler returned to action during the Nemaha County Shootout in Sabetha, Kansas, leading the Eagles to two wins as the team improved to 7-1 on the season.
Koehler poured in 22 points on nine-of-13 shooting from the field to pace a 59-point scoring night for the Eagles on day one of the holiday tournament. Grady Behrends and Robert Gravatt each scored nine points in the win as well.
Johnson-Brock outscored Sabetha 22-7 in the first quarter and led by 14 points at the break.
