The Sterling Lady Jets traveled to Diller-Odell for a game on Friday, December 12. Diller- Odell controlled the first and final quarters in their scoring efforts to pull away with a 4740 victory. At halftime, Diller- Odell had a 24-17 stretch. In the third quarter, the Lady Jets edged the Diller-Odell girls by one point to cut the Lady Griffins’ lead 33-27. Once again Diller-Odell took control of the scoring in the fourth quarter to secure a 47-40 victory.
Kynli Portwood topped the Lady Jets in scoring with 13 points. Braylee Houghton scored nine points for the night. Justice Currie contributed eight points followed by Taylor Truscott with seven points. Bryleigh Crouse helped out with three points.
Truscott totaled 11 rebounds against Diller-Odell. Crouse grabbed seven rebounds for the night. Jocelyn Rathe contributed four rebounds. Truscott made four assists and three steals, while Currie had five rebounds and seven steals for the Lady Jets.
