The Sterling Jets boys basketball team faced a tough Falls City Sacred Heart squad in their season opener on the road Friday night. The Irish won the game 68-19.
The Sacred Heart boys came onto the court with a blast and hammered 35 points to the board in the first quarter, while the Jets only scored three points.
Although the Irish scoring potential tapered off for the remainder of the game, the Jets couldn't match their performance as they only scored in the single digits each quarter.
