Eight Bulldogs won at least one of their matches in the wrestling triangular in Auburn on Thursday evening. Nash Gerdes, Ayden Smith, Ryan Hayes, Crew Gulizia, Kashton Byrd, and Riley Tanner each earned a win, while Zack Haynes and Logan Rowell were each victorious twice.
The Bulldogs defeated Rock Port, MO by a score of 42-24, but fell to Sabetha 53-17.
Rowell would have the highest finish of any Bulldog competing at Peru State on Friday, coming in second in his bracket. Hayes and Haynes each earned third place in their respective brackets.
