Auburn Girls Drop to 0-4 after losses in Murdock, Plattsmouth
SENIOR ADDIE DARNELL had 13 points in the game against the blue devils.

The Bulldog offense was shut down in Murdock on Friday afternoon as Elmwood- Murdock bested Auburn by a score of 44-14. Only three Bulldog players would add to the scoring column, led by Senior Addie Darnell with eight points. Junior Ella Swanson and freshman Emery Snodgrass each finished with three.

The Bulldog defense had strong spurts, including a second quarter in which they allowed only five points, but the Bulldogs were held to single digits in each quarter as Elmwood-Murdock earned their third win of the season.

The next day in Plattsmouth, the Blue Devils put the full-court press on Auburn, outsourcing the Bulldogs 21-1 in the first quarter. Auburn was able to adjust as the game went on, scoring 12 points in each of the next two periods, but it was too late to play catch up. Plattsmouth continued to outscore the Bulldogs by just a few points every period to grow their lead to an eventual 69-34 win over Auburn.
