The sports staffs of Nebraska’s two largest daily newspapers recognized Auburn Bulldog softball players as honorable mention All-State.
Gretchen Paschal and Morgan Stanley were lauded by the staffs of the Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star. The Lincoln daily staff also named Addison Darnell and Bree Wehenkel. Darnell is a senior. The others are juniors.
Darnell achieved honorable mention All-State by both dailies the previous three years. Paschal and Wehenkel were All-State honorable mention in 2024.
