Community spirit was on full display as the community, staff and residents rallied for the Good Samaritan Society’s food drive at Family Fare in Auburn, generating a tremendous response and helping stock local pantries.
Maria Hudson, Marketing, Resource Development Coordinator and Activity Director at Good Samaritan Society of Auburn noted, “This has been the largest year yet for donations! We made $650 and we split the money and food between Catholic Social Services (CSS) and Southeast Community Action Network (SENCA) here in Auburn. We are in awe of the generosity of our community. Costs have risen, yet people still stepped up and gave boldly. Thank you to everyone who donated and to Family Fare for letting us use their location. We are always excited to stock the food pantries, especially this time of year.”
