On Tuesday, November 18, Cozy Cabin Coffee opened its windows for business. Though its first week of business is considered to be a ‘soft opening,’ the new early-morning stop has big plans following Thanksgiving week.
Owned by Tim Sensenig, Cozy Cabin Coffee is in some ways an extension of The Dutch Pantry. The Cozy Cabin is located across The Pantry’s gravel parking lot, and all of the food items for sale at The Cabin are made at The Dutch Pantry. Those treats and breakfasts currently on the menu include muffins and egg bites and cinnamon rolls, but manager Harmony Halteman says that will likely change once Cozy Cabin Coffee opens in entirety, after the November holiday week.
“We’re hoping to create a seasonal menu,” Halteman said, “and we are thinking about including some non-coffee, cold drinks in the summer.” Along with the coffees on the menu, which includes lattes, macchiato and americano, Cozy Cabin offers a variety of teas and hot chocolate, as well as a couple of smaller drinks for kids. Whatever drink you decide on, there are a number of flavoring options you can add as well, and for a bit more, you can include cold foam, espresso or an alternative milk option.
