Johnson-Brock Students Honor Area Veterans
Johnson American Legion Post 330 members Leroy Meyer, Galen Bohling, Patrick Hahn and Cassandra Armknecht were on hand for the presentation and retirement of the colors.

Johnson-Brock senior government students, in collaboration with the music department, organized a heartfelt evening tribute to area veterans on November 11.
The program featured musical performances led by music teacher Kelsey Brundage and included the 6th-grade choir, the 7–12 grade choir, and the Johnson-Brock band. Members of Johnson’s American Legion Post 330 conducted the presentation and retirement of colors.
Students Esma Gudhe-Egger, Clara Heller, Hannah Groth, and Tucker Everett recognized the veterans in attendance and expressed gratitude for their service.
Groth shared, “I hope we can honor these veterans with a spirit of gratitude—for those who served and their families—and be worthy of that service.”
Clara Heller read the poem “Dear American Soldier,” and Rylee Jeanneret recited “Honor.”
