The Johnson County Central Board of Education continues to work with Clark & Enerson to develop a pre-K–8 facility that meets the district’s future needs in an efficient and financially responsible way. At the Nov. 12 meeting, the board briefly reviewed working plans that include educational spaces for grades pre-K through 8, wrestling practice facilities, cafeteria and kitchen areas, performing arts space, band and music rooms, and a gymnasium.
Clark & Enerson has also been asked to create a concept design for a wrestling practice room that could be constructed on top of the current high school shop space.
