The Bulldog volleyball team finished the season with a record of 19-14 after falling to Douglas County West in the semifinal round of the Subdistrict C1-2 tournament at Platteview High School on Monday, October 27.
Despite falling in all three sets, the #3 Bulldogs put up a strong fight in the game, scoring 21 points in the first set and 22 in the third, but they were unable to claim a set against the #2 Falcons.
Sophomore Emery Taylor led Auburn with 13 kills, followed by senior Heidi Gerdes with seven kills. Graycen Jones had a team high 15 digs, while setter Emma Hyde tallied 24 assists in her final volleyball game as a Bulldog. Also a senior, Jaidyn Glathar, notched three kills and three digs as well.
