For just the second time this season, the Johnson-Brock football team allowed more than 34 points, resulting in a playoff loss to #5 Crofton in the round of 16 on Halloween night.
The #12 rated Eagle offense put up 56 points, which would have been good enough to win each of their last eight games this season, but the strong Crofton offense put up 88 points, including 10 rushing touchdowns to eliminate the Eagles from playoff contention by a score of 88-56. Just last week the Warriors opened the playoffs with a 70-point win over Kimball, in which Crofton put 90 points on the scoreboard.
Johnson-Brock’s attack was very balanced, scoring three touchdowns in the rushing game and four in the passing game. The Eagles rushed for 275 yards and gained 301 yards through the air.
