The Johnson County Central volleyball team made quick work of their subdistrict opponents, Aquinas Catholic and Bergan Catholic at the JCC high school gymnasium Monday and Tuesday nights, October 27 and 28. The pair of 3-0 wins advanced the Lady Thunderbirds to the Class C2-1 District championship where they would face Elmwood-Murdock.

The JCC girls faced Aquinas Catholic of David City in the opening round of subdistricts and won this game 3-0 with scores of 25-8, 25-10, 25-17.
