The Johnson County Central Lady Thunderbirds volleyball team traveled to Elmwood- Murdock on Monday night, October 20 to face the Lady Knights for the second time in four days. JCC defeated Elmwood-Murdock for the ECNC Championship title a week ago. The Elmwood-Murdock squad took the JCC girls to another four sets on the Lady Knights’ home court.
Although it was a seesaw scoring battle, the Lady Thunderbirds pulled out a 3-1 victory with scores of 25-18, 20-25,2521, and 25-22.
Ashley Beethe totaled 25 kills and 15 digs.
