The smell of pancakes greeted Nemaha County veterans and their families at the Nemaha County 4-H Building on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Auburn’s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), the American Legion Post 23 and the Veterans Service Office teamed up to host a community breakfast served by The Pancake Man in honor of the county’s veterans ahead of Veterans Day.
Along with breakfast, guests viewed cards created by American Heritage Girls Troop 0305 for local veterans, learned about the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary and purchased bracelets to support the Veterans Service Office.
