Crotty Adds Fourth Straight Top-10 Finish; Bulldogs Come in Fourth at State Cross Country

The Auburn girls cross country team came in fourth place at the NSAA Class C State Cross Country Championships led by senior Liston Crotty in 6th place. Crotty led the Bulldogs at state for the fourth and final time, earning a fourth straight top-10 finish.

Finishing in the top 30 were Auburn’s Hailey Janssen and Hadley Mazzulla. Macy Debuhr added to Auburn’s team score with a time of 21:50.56.

Winning state for the girls in Class C this year was Chase County ahead of runner-up Adams Central and Scotus Central Catholic in third place. Auburn scored 93 team points, beating fifth place Gothenburg by five points.
