AHS’ Beau Thomas Semifinalist In Nebraska Student Film Competition

Beau Thomas, Auburn High School junior, has advanced to the semifinals of the Nebraska Student Film Competition.

Jessica Paschal, Auburn Public Schools language arts teacher, noted Thomas developed his script idea in his Creative Writing class. She continued as part of a class project, students pitched original movie ideas centered on the theme of social connection. Each student created a story summary, a list of characters and a theme statement. Afterward, students had the option to submit their ideas to the contest.
