This weekend, Auburn will be haunted by the likes of the Addams Family, the Sanderson Sisters, and characters conjured from the dark corners of Stephen King’s imagination.
For the past 13 years, the Arnold family has been transforming their 1900 Queen Anne-style home into a frightful spectacle—all in exchange for a donation to a local food pantry, Project Response, Inc. What takes months of preparation is, according to Mark Arnold, a true labor of love.
Mark, who travels in from Denver, joins his sisters Becky and Kelly, along with a devoted group of friends, to spend the year soaking in spooky inspiration and bringing it all together for one thrilling weekend. Becky Arnold originally purchased the property as a weekend getaway, but it quickly became a Halloween tradition.
