The Johnson County Central Lady Thunderbirds opened the East Central Nebraska Conference volleyball tournament against the Weeping Water Lady Indians on Monday night, October 13. The Lady Thunderbirds defeated Weeping Water in three sets with scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-17.
Ashley Beethe topped the Lady Thunderbirds attack with a total 22 kills.
Harley Lubben tallied seven kills and seven digs for the night.
