Johnson County Central Schools had one female and three male cross country runners medal at the East Central Nebraska Conference cross country meet held at the Tecumseh Country Club on Thursday, October 9.
Thursday was a much better day to be running due to its warmer and drier weather conditions. The ECNC meet was postponed from Tuesday, October 7 due to the significant amount of rain this area received on Sunday and Monday which would have made the path for the runners a little slippery on Tuesday.
Johnson County Central’s Madison VanLaningham medaled in 10th place for the varsity girls race. She finished with a time of 24:31.55.
