Johnson County Central’s football squad will end its 2025 season with a 6-2 record.
The Thunderbirds planned to host the Humboldt Table Rock Steiner (HTRS) Titans this Friday night, but the Titans forfeited the game due to several injuries among its players. JCC Coach Ryan Haughton said an attempt was made to find a replacement game, but it wasn’t possible.
The Thunderbirds are ineligible for the football playoffs, since they decided to stay with 8-man rather than moving up to 11 man for the 2025 season.
