Eagles Submit Strong Performance Ahead of District Championship

Each one of Johnson-Brock’s nine touchdowns scored against Omaha Christian Friday night came from the run game as the Eagles ran for 372 total yards in a 66-6 over the Guardians to improve to 5-2 on the season.

Senior Hayden Gravatt had nearly 200 yards rushing with his 17 carries that went for an average of 11.4 yards. Quarterback Wyatt Fulton also averaged a first down on each of his eight rushes as the two combined for seven of the team’s nine touchdowns. The other two came on rushes by Coy Behrends and Oliver Everett.

The Eagles didn’t rely on the passing game as much, but still Fulton and Behrends completed nine of their combined 11 pass attempts for 109 total passing yards. Grady Behrends was the top receiving target with four catches, while Koehler had a team-leading 38 receiving yards on a pair of catches.
