The Bulldogs ran the football 42 times, their most all season, against the Tigers Friday night, leading to Auburn’s most lopsided victory of the season, a 41-6 rout of Falls City on Homecoming night.
Most of those 42 rushing attempts were either by sophomore Clayton Brown or junior Drayven Lamb. Brown carried the ball 19 times, racking up a game-high 80 yards on the ground. Lamb was Auburn’s top threat in scoring territory, as he found the endzone on two of his 15 rushing attempts. Tayber Rademacher also punched in a rushing touchdown and was Auburn’s top receiver, hauling in 4 catches for 113 yards and a receiving touchdown despite wearing a cast due to a wrist injury.
Crew Gulizia’s lone catch from quarterback Brenton Wenzl was a 16-yard touchdown, but the senior would catch three passes from the Falls City quarterback, racking up 64 yards and one touchdown off his flurry of interceptions.
