The Sterling Jets hosted Dill- er-Odell Griffins on their home field Friday night and, although the first half of the game proved to be a seesaw scoring battle, the Jets came out ready to play in the second half to pull away with the 37-18 victory.
Beau Kaster got the Jets scoring engines started as he scored on a three yard run in the first drive of the game. Diller-Odell blocked Sterling’s extra point kick. Later on, Kade Horstman intercepted a Griffin pass and
ran down the field to score a 15 yard touchdown. The extra point kick failed.
