The Crusaders attacked the Bulldog defense with a runheavy approach, eventually gaining 311 of their 325 yards of offense from rushing. They scored twice with the run game in the first quarter to pull ahead 14-0 on the Bulldogs.
Auburn opened the second quarter with a 12-play 59-yard drive that ended in a 21-yard rushing touchdown by quarterback Wyatt Tanner. Tanner would score Auburn’s other touchdown of the game on a 10yard rush in the fourth quarter.
