Wednesday morning, Aug. 27, the Nemaha County Commissioners adopted a resolution setting 20252026 levy authorities for the Nemaha County Agricultural Society and the five rural fire districts.
All will be per $100 valuation. The Agricultural Society’s .004723 is unchanged from 2024-2025. The rural fire districts will have a common levy of .035377. The respective levies from the previous year were: Johnson No. 1, .033608. Peru No. 3, .034528. Nemaha No. 4, .027222. Brock-Julian No. 7, .028537. Auburn No. 8, .026971.
