The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is scheduling a meeting Tuesday, Sept. 16, in Tecumseh.
It will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Tecumseh Fire Hall, 1110 Buffalo Drive. Commission representatives will be seeking input from landowners, hunters and area residents about their perceptions of the deer population along a 9-mile stretch of Highway 136 in Johnson County from 1 mile west of Crab Orchard to 2 miles east of Vesta and to discuss what people want to be done about the situation.
