St. Andrew School Opens the 2025-26 Year With 19 Students

Teachers and students were excited to start the new year on Tuesday, August 19 after a fun weekend at the Johnson County Fair. Regular school hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

The mission of St. Andrew’s Catholic School is: “Helping children discover and follow Jesus and strive for academic excellence for the glory of God.” The school has five staff. In addition, two Christ the King Sisters come once a month and two Marian Sisters come twice a month Teachers include: Gina Stutheit, Pre-K; Denise Farr, K-2; and Elizabeth Brase, Grades 3-6. St. Andrew’s School has 19 students this year.

Some activities the students look forward to throughout the year are a trip to the zoo, All Saints’ celebration, Christmas program, Catholic Schools Week and May Crowning.
