The Auburn softball team ended their first week of regular season play with a 1-3 record including a 1-2 showing in a tournament in Aurora on Saturday.
Malcolm was responsible for two of Auburn’s first three losses, but the Bulldogs improved on their season-opening 7-2 loss to the Clippers, falling only by a single run in the Aurora Tournament on Saturday, August 22. Auburn defeated Aurora by a score of 8-2 to start the tournament, earning their first win of the season, but fell to 1-3 on the season after a 9-3 loss to Crete in their final game on Saturday.
