MONDAY AFTERNOON, Aug. 11, Nebraska State Fair staff members stopped by the Nemaha County Fair in Auburn. From left are, Maxine Schatz, Sheena Davidson, Courtney Glock and Karli Schulz. Schatz is a Nemaha County Agricultural Society member and open class overall coordinator. Davidson is 4-H Extension assistant. Glock is State Fair marketing director. Schulz is events director. State Fair staff have been across the Cornhusker State to recognize the importance of county fairs on the state exposition. State officials were to visit the Johnson County Fair at Tecumseh Saturday, Aug. 16. Showcase Your Fair Face is theme of the 156th State Fair which begins Friday, Aug. 22. It continues through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1 at Grand Island.
