I am a Man: Chief Standing Bear’s Journey for Justice will be presented by author Joe Starita Saturday, August 16.
The 10 a.m. program at the Schoolhouse Art Gallery at 427 Main St. in Brownville. Three books will be given away as door prizes. Others will be available for sale with proceeds benefiting scholarships for Native American students.
Sponsors will be Humanities Nebraska, The Nebraska Cultural Endowment and the Brownville Fine Arts Association.
