Winners of Cook BBQ Cookoff Named

A new team, Southern Style Cooking, joined the BBQ Cookoff competition in Cook on Saturday, July 19 and won first place in the Ribs category. The Lincoln Lip Smackers won second place. The Cook Fire Association’s Captain and Chief took third place.

In the Loin category, The 25th Hour team won first place. The Lincoln Lip Smackers took second place. The Cook Fire Association’s Captain and Chief took third place.

The Lincoln Lip Smackers won first place in the baked beans category. The team of Big Jon’s took second place.
