Auburn’s Legion Seniors went through a tough stretch recently, falling in five straight games, including three losses to start the Springfield 2025 Senior Invitational over the weekend.
The team would right the ship by Sunday, when they scored six runs in the first two innings to best Omaha Concordia by a score of 6-2.
The win over Concordia puts the First National Bank of Johnson (FNBJ) Seniors back on track before the area tournament begin on July 25 in Nebraska City. Auburn will enter the tournament with a 14-14 record.
