More than 30 area residents got a preview of the 2025 Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat football season Monday night, July 14 at the Auburn Country Club.
“For a first time event, it was very successful. We’d always like to have more but you’ve got to start somewhere. I think it was a good start. Anytime you do anything for the first time, you don’t know what to expect. It will get bigger and better over time. You pick a date, you’ll have successes and failures,” noted Vince Henzel, membership chair of the PSC Football Boosters.
Henzel continued attendance of 28 and 73 persons, respectively, at similar events in Lincoln and Omaha.
