The Carmichael Cafe in Nemaha was burglarized early Friday morning and robbed of $300 worth of meat, and an undetermined amount of shelf items. Floyd Carmichael, owner, summoned authorities to the scene around 7:30 a.m.

A sixteen-year-old girl fainted in the mini-inn part of the Auburn swimming pool Friday afternoon and was taken to the Nemaha County Hospital shortly after by the Rescue Squad, Pool Manager C. F. Kleine said.
