Two individuals were sentenced in Nemaha County District Court Wednesday, June 25. Presiding was District Judge Julie D. Smith.
Derek J. West, Somerset, Pa., one year in the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services on theft--receiving or retaining stolen property valued at between $1,500 and $4,999, a Class 4 felony. The offense occurred Wednesday, March 19, 2025. West was credited with 89 days served.
Jason R. Koch, Lincoln, $1,000 fine and $40 restitution on first degree forgery, a Class 3 felony. The offense occurred Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024.
