Kyle Pond is leaving the athletic director position at Peru State College.

Kyle’s dedication to fostering a culture of excellence and integrity has left an indelible mark on our community. As he transitions to new opportunities, we extend our heartfelt thanks and best wishes to Kyle and his family. We look forward to celebrating his achievements and wishing him continued success in his future endeavors,” noted Wendy Waugh, interim president.
Pond’s tenure included Project Renewed Opportunities for Activity and Recreation. It has added a softball/ baseball fieldhouse and an indoor dome. The Bobcats experienced successes across multiple sports. Athletic enrollment increased 40 percent. New indoor and outdoor track programs were introduced. There has been growth in gameday events, and increased social media engagement and athletic department exposure.
