Rains parted Saturday morning, allowing Peru locals to enjoy almost all of the events originally planned for Old Man River Days in Peru last weekend.
The celebrations began Friday night with the Nemaha Valley Street Rods Cruise-In and various competitions.
Participants of the Southeast Nebraska Missouri River Fishing Club Tournament took on the rain to kick off the festivities for Saturday. The night would end with the KJ Whitehorse Street Dance.
