Entering Auburn’s April 22 game against Nebraska City, Lucy Christiansen was responsible for the Bulldogs’ only goal of the season. The freshman would up her career goal total to three after scoring twice against the Pioneers.
Still, the Bulldogs couldn’t keep pace with Nebraska City as the Pioneers dealt Auburn a 9-2 loss on Tuesday in Auburn.
The Bulldogs weren’t able to overcome Plattsmouth on Thursday, April 24 either, falling to the Blue Devils by a score of 7-0, despite a strong start to the first half that featured multiple scoring opportunities for the Bulldogs that they couldn’t finish.
