On Thursday, March 28, veterans who served during the Vietnam War, specifically between November 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975, were invited to the Warner Chamber in the Nebraska State Capitol to be honored for their service. Among the attendees was Leroy Able, a veteran from Auburn A VIETNAM WAR VETERANS’ lapel pin awarded to veterans who served between Nov. 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held over the noon hour on Monday, March 25 to kick off the construction of two low-income, single-family homes. The homes are to be built at 2504 and 2510 Kuhlmann Avenue on the west side of the street, north of the playground.
