The Johnson-Brock Lady Eagles were in action on Friday, Dec. 19, for the first time on their home court as Tri-County made the trip to Johnson. The Lady Eagles edged the Trojans 43-41 in three overtimes to raise their season record to 2-1. The Eagles trailed after the first quarter 6-10 and at the half 15-18. “We didn’t come out with a lot of energy the first half and we gave up too many paint touches. Tri-County has some good athletes and size inside, so we knew we would have to make adjustments at some point in the game,” Lady Eagles Coach Landonn Mackey commented. Trailing by 8 points in the second quarter, the Lady Eagles cut the Lady Trojan lead to 1 before giving up a 3-point play before half.
