Brad Hall Leads Bulldog Wrestlers; Advances to State

Brad Hall will represent Auburn High School at the 2022 NSAA State Wrestling Championships in Omaha. Hall finished in third place at the B-1 District Meet hosted by Nebraska City High School on Feb. 11-12. Hall, who wrestles at 160 pounds, improved to 36-14 on the season after his efforts at Districts. Wrestlers from all four classes open State competition Thursday, Feb. 17 at CHI Health Center Arena in Omaha.

Peru State Football Boosters Honor the Late Dale Thomas

THE PERU STATE College Football Booster Club presented its 2021 True Blue Award posthumously to Dale Thomas of Auburn, longtime Bobcat Football public address announcer and even longer Peru State sports fan. Booster Club President Rick Janssen gave the award to Thomas’ family, which humbly accepted it. The presentation took place during the January 30 Wild Game Feed at the Auburn Eagles Club.
