Seven Gold Medals Won By Johnson-Brock at Irish Invitational at Syracuse
Tuesday, April 16, the Johnson-Brock Eagles finished fourth with the Lady Eagles tying for sixth at the Robert A. Roh Irish Invitational. The 13-school meet was contested at Syracuse.
Four student-athletes combined to win seven gold medals, with five other individuals and four relays also achieving placings.

“It was a great day for a track meet. The coaches were proud of both teams and the effort they gave in the meet. We scored in a variety of events on the day and with a number of student-athletes. Many athletes had personal best performances, which always makes the hard work worth it. We look forward to keep improving as the season continues.”
Boys’ Individual Medalists
Ty Hahn: First in 100 meter dash, 11.50; first in 200 meter dash, 23.51 and first in long jump, 19’10-1/2”.
Seth Moerer: First in shot put, 50’7”; and first in discus 147’9”.
Hunter Oestmann: First in 800 meter run, 2:10.68 and fourth in 400 meter dash, 54.99.
Caleb Fossenbarger: Fourth in 110 meter hurdles, 18.09.
