Seth Moerer Fifth in Discus at Class D State Track and Field; Hunter Oestmann Runs 800 Meter Race

Saturday morning, May 18, Johnson-Brock’s Seth Moerer placed fifth in the discus at the Class D state track and field meet.
The 2019 graduate threw 138’6”. It was the second consecutive year Moerer earned a state medal. He took fifth in the shotput in 2018.
Also that morning, Hunter Oestmann, another 2018 graduate, ran 2:06.25 in the 800 meter run. He was eighth in his section and 10th overall. Oestmann also ran at state last year. The state meet was held at Omaha Burke High School.
