The Johnson-Brock boys basketball team placed third in the A Division of the MUDECAS basketball tournament. The Eagles raised their season record to 7-4.
Tuesday night, Jan. 10, the Eagles opened play in the tournament with a 63-40 win over Freeman.
“We played well throughout the first half and built a nice lead going into halftime. They got into a little bit of foul trouble in the first half which helped us out as well. In the third quarter, Freeman had some key offensive rebounds and cut the lead to 15 points before we went on an 18 to 5 run to finish the game. This was a quality win against a very quality opponent,” Eagles Coach Lucus Dalinghaus commented.
